News from Start Skydiving Ohio:
All of our tunnel camp participants are getting really excited to head down to Florida in a few weeks. The Start family is dropping well over $10,000 in tunnel time. (Or maybe Mel spent it all on the new Red VW Bug she just bought. I guess we will find out when we get there.) Anyway, Melanie Johnson and Brad Hunt are determined to get everyone at the DZ freeflying! Chris Dixon is also going to be coaching for us. We are going to be introducing a few new people to the tunnel this time around. Adam Ralston is bring his girlfriend Jodi down for a half hour of tunnel so she can get a head start on her AFF that she is starting in the Spring. Ryan Boone is participating in his first tunnel camp. Sarah Winkler and the little Winkler boys will be getting in the tunnel for the first time ever. (BEER, x 3, Yeah they have to pay up too!) In addition to the tunnel, we are all even more excited to invade the Start Skydiving Florida location and give Trish a hard time!

News from Start Skydiving Florida:
The weather in Florida has been fairly frightful so we’ve been dealing with a lot of cloud and rain delays, but thanks to Nita Newsom, the office is decorated with Christmas cheer for us to enjoy!
We are happy to announce the addition of a new staff member here, tandem instructor Rick Dale. Rick and his wife Tammy have been funjumping here since we opened the doors in 2010, and Rick received his tandem rating a few weeks ago and joined the team on a part-time basis. He is also a seasoned pilot and will be heading up to Ohio this spring to jump and fly whenever he can. He enjoys boats, cigars, and expensive rum. I’d say he’ll be a fine fit!
